How do I search Twitter for certain topics?

If you want to search Twitter to see peoples tweets on certain topics, for instance if you wanted to see opinions and posts about "healthcare reform" you can head to the Twitter search and see what people are saying. This is a great way to find new people to follow if you happen to find someone you find witty or smart and you enjoy their tweets when searching through topics.
Here are directions to find and use Twitter search:
- Go to to http://search.twitter.com
- Enter the topic you are intested in and click Search.
- You will then see a list of the most recent posts on your topic.
- You can click reply underneath each tweet or you can View Tweet and go to the tweeters profile page or you can just scroll through and read what people are saying about the topic.
- You can click advanced search at the top if you want to be more specific in what you are searching for. The advanced search has many options to really narrow down the search results. You can search twitter hashtags, certain dates, local tweets and more.
